How To Use ZeoCrystal Products Listed below are solutions and directions for many common odor problems. Before treating any odor source, clean the area as well as possible with a mild detergent. URINE: PETS AND OTHER

Make a batch of solution using one part Pet Odor Control Concentrate to one or two parts water. For example, one cup of Pet Odor Control to one cup of water. Because it is water-activated, mix only the amount of solution you plan to use at one time. Solution must be used within about 10 hours once mixed with water. Spray or wipe spot with solution and allow to dry. The best method is to pour the mixed solution directly on the soiled spot and allow solution to soak in for about 10 to 15 minutes, which allows solution to reach all hidden areas of contamination and break down the remaining urine salts. After soaking, remove as much excess solution as possible by using a Wet-Vac type vacuum, or blotting with towels. Allow area to thoroughly dry. Then sprinkle on some Litter-Mate or Odor Eliminator Powder and leave in place at least 24 hours before sweeping or vacuuming.

PET ODOR

Place Solar Crystals or Pet-Odor Magnet as near to pets or their cages as possible for airborne odors. Sprinkle bedding, carpets, cages or anything that has an "animal" type odor with Litter-Mate or Odor Eliminator Powder. Leave powder products in place at least 24 hours before sweeping or vacuuming. Sprinkle directly on the pet, rub into coat and leave in place as an in-between bath.

SKUNK SPRAY & ACUTE PET ODORS

Eliminate skunk spray or other very intense odors on pets by first washing the animal with a high quality pet shampoo. After thoroughly rinsing the animal, pour on a FINAL rinse solution of Pet-Odor Control mixed one to one (1 to 1) with water. Once applied, DO NOT rinse out. Allow animal to shake-off excess solution and wait to dry or use a hair dryer for faster drying. Once fully dry, generously sprinkle Litter-Mate or Odor Eliminator Powder directly on animal's coat or fur. Work the powder into the fur. Because of it's sand-like texture, protect the animals' eyes and ears. Depending on the severity of the odor, up to three applications may be necessary.

CIGARETTES OR SMOKE

Place several Solar Crystal Bags in areas affected by smoke from cigars, cigarettes or fire damage. Sprinkle Odor Eliminator Powder on affected carpets and furniture. Keep some Powder in ashtrays as well. Walk through rooms spraying Fresh-Air Mist to oxidize airborne smoke odors. Spraying a mixed solution of one part Natural Odor Control Concentrate to three parts water on all smoke affected surfaces also helps break down the hydrocarbons causing the odors. Use periodically.

FURNITURE

Using a pump mist-type or trigger sprayer, spray Natural Odor Control Concentrate full-strength on any water-safe surface like upholstery, fabrics, sealed or finished wooden goods and allow to dry. After the treated surface dries, apply Odor Eliminator Powder and allow to remain for at least 24 hours before vacuuming. Zeo Fridge-Fresh bags work great to remove stale or musty odors from drawers or other small confined areas. Zeo has mist-type sprayers you can order if desired.

CARS/TRUCKS

For smoke, spray Natural Odor Control Concentrate full-strength once weekly on all surfaces, paying close attention to fabric "headliners" and air conditioning vents. For spills like milk, fruit juice, fish, gasoline etc., follow directions for URINE. For musty air conditioner odors, spray Natural Odor Control full-strength directly into air intake on firewall with the fan on high speed. Fresh-Air Mist also works extremely well on all automobile related odors.

MOLD & MILDEW

To remove airborne odors, simply hang a few Solar Crystal Bags in affected areas. Spraying a solution (1 part Natural Odor Control to 3 parts water) on walls and floor will speed up odor removal. On dry carpeting, sprinkle either Litter-Mate or Odor Eliminator Powder and leave in place at least 24 hours before vacuuming. Creating additional air movement by running a small box fan on low speed also helps the Solar Crystal Bags to speed up odor removal.
